Will 2021 be another record-breaking year in the Connecticut housing market?
As 2021 Q1 has come and gone, we’ve been able to collect data on activity in the Connecticut real estate market.
The majority of cities and towns across the state have seen a jump in median sale prices. With first-quarter median prices up from the previous 18 years, nearly half of all Connecticut towns are on pace to beat their record median home sale prices.
“There’s very, very high demand, in two forms: moves within the state of Connecticut [with] people feeling the need to get more space, over and above their existing home. And particularly in southwest Connecticut, we’re seeing an influx of buyers from New York City.”
